Product Utilization and Description
The EMS Rampart Contour Seal is made of preformed compressible material, which can be used in a variety of waterproofing applications. It is made of polyurethane micro cell foam, which is; hydrophobic, flame retardant, chemically resistant UV stable foam. The Rampart seal has constant internal forces built into each cell. These cells continuously push against each other and the sidewalls of an opening. Consequently, this tireless force is used to keep out water, moisture, dust, sound and weather. The product is designed to provide a permanent, watertight seal and assures protection as a secondary sealer.
The pre-compressed self-adhering material allows for its use in vertical applications. In areas where dust, water or sounds are a consideration the EMS Rampart Contour Seal will respond to (+/-) 25% movement. The gentile texture of the closed cell material resembles sponge-packing foam.
Use in applications in the vertical position on buildings, garages, plaza decks and other areas where high performance interior and exterior is a requirement.
