Product Utilization and Description
The Contour Seal is a pre formed compression sealer, which can be used in a variety of waterproofing applications. It is made of polyurethane foam that has constant internal forces built into each cell. these cells continually push against each other and the side walls of the opening. Consequently, this tireless force is used to keep out water, debris, sound, and weather. The Contour Seal is offered in several distinct models. The Nautica Contour Seal is useful for conditions that are subject to slightly irregular openings in below grade applications where hydro-stop material is necessary.
This material allows for its use in several distinctly different applications, such as horizontal pedestrian applications, isolation joints, window frame closures, and vertical, difficult to reach precast panels.
